After last year’s Sommermusik Rheydt could only take place on a limited basis due to the pandemic, this year it was possible to approach the pre-Corona status and revive the concert series that has been popular for 15 years. In compliance with local regulations, MEDIA SPECTRUM realized the open air event on behalf of VOILA Promotion in front of the spectacular backdrop of Rheydt Schloss in Mönchengladbach. It is the only architecturally completely preserved Renaissance castle in the Lower Rhine region – an extraordinary location whose special requirements were perfectly mastered by the MEDIA SPECTRUM team.

Thanks to a Media Spectrum elevating roof system and special design side extensions, the main stage blended in perfectly with its surroundings. The VIP areas were also equipped with a Media Spectrum EVO stage system.

Perfect sound was provided by the sound technology with d&b audio system. Numerous moving lights as well as stepped lenses and other spotlights were used and let the artists shine in the best light.

Through atmospheric lighting of the surroundings, the MEDIA SPECTRUM team created a special ambience. Space for additional seating was created by professionally building over local conditions.

The event series also took place in the form of a picnic concert at the Freibad Wahlbeck and was also implemented by MEDIA SPECTRUM.
