Truss construction for the G20 Summit

On 7 and 8 July 2017, the world was watching the G20 summit in Hamburg. The heads of state and government of the most important industrialised and emerging countries met there. And Media Spectrum GmbH & Co. KG was commissioned to erect a “somewhat different” truss construction.

Built by the Media Spectrum team as a double storey, the truss construction stood parallel to the main entrance of the Hamburg Trade Fair Centre – while, among other things, world climate, free trade and terrorism were being negotiated.

The second floor provided various television teams with first-class long shots for the presentation. The elevated position made it possible to perfectly stage the grounds and entrance of Messe Hamburg and thus show the arrival and departure of the G20 guests live on television.

The construction could be admired on the exhibition grounds until 9 July.
