After the successful start of the newly created concert series “Sommermusik Xanten” last year, the artists were able to convince the audience in Xanten again this year.
Media Spectrum was not only responsible for the impressive technical realisation, but also organised the “Open Air with Flair” together with Günter vom Dorp from voilá promotion. “We’ll be happy to come back,” vom Dorp summed up on the last concert evening with the English singer-songwriter Albert Hammond. The fact that the mixture of different musical genres at the seven concerts in Xanten works is shown, among other things, by the significantly increased number of visitors.
A total of more than 5,000 spectators came to the events and were entertained not only by Albert Hammond but also by artists such as Stefanie Heinzmann, the Queen Revival Band, the German Philharmonic Orchestra Bonn and the Wise Guys. The diversity of the programme was underpinned by the swing of the “Glenn Miller Orchestra” or the Cuban sounds of the “One Night of Buena Vista”.
The unique location with a view of Xanten Cathedral was not only well received by the Xanten audience but also by many visitors who had travelled to Xanten.
